about

Recorded in Rob Oesterlin's basement Studio
over 2 months in winter 2009, He engineered
the sessions. There was no outright producer
we encouraged each other to approach our
work with a great deal of passion and offered
suggestions. There was no boss-man over our
shoulders.

I played guitar and sang on all the tracks, washboard
on Color of Bruises, tambourine and tapped on my
guitar during "MN long goodbye."

My good friend D. Sykes came in to play harmonica
on "Between Passion and Desperation, and Rob
was the only one who could keep a beat with
a Tambourine, he's featured on the that track as
well.

The most talented guitarist I've had the pleasure
of knowing on a personal basis, Andrew Bizek
played lead guitar on "Minnesota long goodbye."

Thanks to all the people who I wrote songs about,
I tried to portray you all with as much love as
possible.
